La valorizzazione delle esperienze del moderno e la loro storicizzazione, nella prospettiva di attenzione alla conservazione dei serramenti, come complementi figurativi e come sistema costruttivo è ancora insufficientemente sviluppata, ad eccezione di casi architettonici emblematici - come testimoniato nell’attività del Do.Co.Mo.Mo. International. I limiti di intervento sulle chiusure verticali nel patrimonio moderno hanno diverse motivazioni, che riguardano sia le difficoltà di raggiungimento di livelli accettabili di prestazioni termiche ed acustiche, sia - nelle prospettiva di congruenza con la storia - il mancato riconoscimento del rapporto di visione fra interno ed esterno come connotante delle architetture moderne, e quindi l’importanza di conservare anche l’effetto della trasparenza e della riflessione dell’immagine e dei modi della sua percezione. Casi esemplari riguardano i progetti di riqualificazione di architetture del patrimonio industriale nell’area torinese. In modern heritage, the limits of intervention on the vertical closures have different motivations, both in terms of difficulty in achieving acceptable levels of thermal and acoustic performance, and - in congruence with the perspective of history - the failure to recognize the relationship between vision inside and external as connoting modern architecture and, hence, the importance of maintaining the effect of transparency and reflection of the image and of the ways of its perception. Case studies refer to proposals for redevelopment of the industrial heritage of architecture in Turin.
