Abstract
The dissaturation control problem of road traffic network is approached, under the usual turning flow measurement constraint. Since a flow-tube network model, as developed in a previous paper, is characterised by a state vector which is only partially observable, a state aggregation depending on the phase patterns at intersections is proposed. The minimum dissaturation time control strategy is then stated, based on the aggregated model. Some conditions are derived which assures that the minimum time control problem solutions, based either on the flow-tube model or on the phase aggregated model, perform equivalently.Pubblicazioni consigliate
