In this paper, a novel method to compute the static balance of turbine blades with underplatform dampers is presented, focusing on the influence of the static loads on the system dynamics. The proposed method allows preventing the calculation of non-unique forced response levels of the blade, occurring when simplified hypotheses are applied to the damper static balance.
