Within the general field of national research, the contribution of the research unit of Turin aims to focus more specifically on the implications of museographic interest, designed as a wide range of solutions and tools to be used to exhibit, able to reconcile the need to ensure both the archaeological finds optimal threshold of comfort, and sites where they are located and visitors. Research in Piedmont provides in a first phase the development of analysis and proposals for action inside archaeological sites-sample, in particular: • the archaeological area of Turin • the archaeological site of Susa • the archaeological site of Ivrea The operations carried out refer to archaeological sites of historical value as well as artistic, favoring also not exceptional situations, with specific attention to urban and regeneration specific issues - including in the latter both the solution of partial or total coverage of sites and exhibition issues intersecting set, lighting, design, air conditioning, choice of materials. The analysis phase described below prelude to a more general reflection on exhibit typical tools: that is the complex operations of a museum-site, which are important both in terms of site management and enhancement attentive to the problems of conservation and enjoyment of the site; the analysis will then evaluate the problems posed by the accessibility and signposting, the provision of facilities, by display aids and technological ones; in this context, examining the different instruments and museographic exhibits to be proposed, the research unit will examine the latest technological devices to facilitate communication and educational aspects, considered as important as that of the physical arrangement of objects, in order to give them educational and cultural function useful to the whole community.
