Purpose of the paper is to define a methodology to optimize the design of an HEV at early phases of development, of its electric components and the vehicle mass in order to achieve target CO2 emissions by using a meta modelling approach using the most cost-efficient way. Starting from a base diesel powered architecture, identified parameters focus of the optimization include base vehicle curb mass, battery size, degree of hybridization.

Abstract
Purpose of the paper is to define a methodology to optimize the design of an HEV at early phases of development, of its electric components and the vehicle mass in order to achieve target CO2 emissions by using a meta modelling approach using the most cost-efficient way. Starting from a base diesel powered architecture, identified parameters focus of the optimization include base vehicle curb mass, battery size, degree of hybridization.Pubblicazioni consigliate
