In the ongoing search for new materials for microwave absorption applications, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) merit a special consideration due to their outstanding properties. In this paper, the microwave absorbing properties of several commercial Multi Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) used as filler in Epoxy resin have been analyzed. The complex permittivity of the composites prepared with four types of MWCNT’s has been experimentally determined. The data were used to calculate the reflection coefficient of a single-layer absorber backed by a metallic plate calculated for 0.1% and 0.5% concentration of CNTs.
