The article focuses on the churches of Rhodes during the Hospitaller Age and intends to clarify the establishment and transformation of buildings with respect to the historic evolution of the town, also evaluating the typologies of the churches, by means of different sources. Mapping of Greek and Latin churches will allow learning the elements of continuity and transformation in the space division of space after the installation of a Latin Catholic elite in a Greek town. We will describe the buildings in relation to the urban fabric and the enlargement of the walls, leading us to the conclusion that places of worship were subordinated to the secular power. Finally, a quantitative analysis will led to better define relationship between the Greek and Latin worship in the town, as well as to start thinking about the territorialization of the sacred space, namely the subdivision of urban space in contrade and parishes.
