Mapping modern human travels are the more fleeting the higher you go up in the mountains. How to collect and maintain over time the knowledge on how it was and it still is possible to explore such areas? This essay discuss processes of “crowdmapping” through new forms of geographical representations that are "resilient" to changes. It is introduced an ongoing pilot project which is developing a web platform to computing situated traces (trails and ways) of highlands by a method that must adapt and cooperate (be resilient) with the mode of experiencing those knowledge map and geo information. The aim is to maintain and preserve memories and to monitor the land and its environmental changes. GeoMa is the name of the web platform which is building a virtual community of various experts and enable them to build their collective geographic knowledge.
